By dividing China into east,central and west part and by using the data from 1996 to 2002 and by using panel data model to analyze,this paper reveals that the promotion effect of education investment on economic development in east,central and west part is different but not big.It is obvious in east part and is low in central and west part.Presently,the reasons for regional difference of education investment mainly are that China's investment scale and structure in different regions is different.
