The municipal modernization of Chongqing commenced from 1891.Anti-Japanese War,a special historic condition,provided the opportunity for the modernization of Chongqing.The big scale inland movement brought modernization factor to Chongqing and made Chongqing become real political,economic,military and cultural center and finish Chongqing's modern urbanization.
