Sichuan is the most advanced economic province in western China, Chongqing is the unique municipality directly under the center govemment, the two areas constitute the core area of Changjiang upriver economic belt. The urhanization construction in Schuan and Chongiqng is great importance to Changjiang upriver economic development. In this paper, the author analyzes urbanization construction in Sichuan and Chongqing, the similarity and difference, provides the countermeasures for co- constructing Changjiang upriver ecconomy belt.
