Chongqing metropolis circle is the political, economic, scientific and cultural center of Chongqing which can be classified into three levels in space. Chongqing metropolis circle is also the economic center at upper reaches of Yangtze River. The construction of core economic zone at upper reaches of Yangtze River is the biggest external factor to influence function position of Chongqing metropolis circle and becanes the strategic objective of Chongqing. The new development strategy of Chongqing metropolis circle is to combine industrialization, urbanization and marketability and is to develop new type developing zone to promote the construction of Chongqing metropolis circle.
