| Abstract: |
| Based on the indexes of dual comparative coefficient, urban--rural resident income difference coefficient and urban- rural resident Engle Coefficient difference of Chongqing during 1978--2005, this paper reveals that big city and big countryside co--exist in Chongqing, that the gap between urban areas and rural areas is enlarged, urban--rural dual economic structure is obvious and that urban--rural dual structure shows static development trend in recent years. |
