| Discussion on the building of a well-off society in the countryside of western China |

| Abstract: |
| This paper has analyzed five important and difficult points in building the countryside of western China into a well-off society, and discussed the ways of the building of the well-off society in the rural areas, which consists of the changing the ideas of the administrators in the government at various levels; really giving top priority to the building of the well-off society; working out scientific and practical projections of building the well-off society in the countryside as early as possible in different provinces, districts and counties; appropriately raising the prices of agricultural products and by-products to increase the income of the peasants; gradually transferring the city-centered investments to the rural areas; enforcing the measures of law and administration to protect the legal rights and interest of the farmers; and the ever-lasting creative abilities both in cities and countryside that is the enduring motivations in ensuring the contents and higher levels of a well-off society in China. |
