| 重庆市已建立起较为完善的工业体系,制造业基础设施建设比较完善,物质技术基础也较雄厚,形成了一系列优势产品,并且其技术和资金密集型制造业呈现出产值比重上升而就业比重下降的趋势.在新形势下,重庆市应重新审视制造业的地位和作用,以建设现代制造业基地作为其建成长江上游经济中心的基本战略选择,构筑工业新体系. |

| Abstract: |
| Because of relatively complete infrastructure construction and of strong skill basis, Chongqing manufacturing industry has established relatively complete industrial system and forms a series of advantageous products. The proportion of output value begins to increase and the proportion of employment begins to decrease in skill-intensive and capital-intensive manufacturing industries. Under new situation, Chongqing should reconsider the status and role of manufacturing industry to take construction of modern manufacturing industry base as basic strategy choice for construction of economic center at upper reaches of Yangtze River in order to build new system of industry. |
