| Abstract: |
| This article describes the historic changes of the old town Fengdu and its present tourism economy. Moreover, the article introduces the influence and opportunity to tourism caused by the moving of the town and reserved water. In order to make the new 'ghost' town Fengdu become a historic, cultural and well-known city at upper reaches of Changjiang river and keep the local tourism development, we suggest building the folk cultural streets, and drawing lessons from 'Qiandaohu' experience to set up the new sights of 'Wandaohu' in Three Gorge areas. New Fengdu should be linked with Mingshan Mountain by land and water to reconstruct the tourism resources. |
